Our Story
PuraVidaBalloons, established in 2018 by Melina, was born out of a passion for decorating and a desire to bring an extra touch of love to all special occasions, including baby showers, gender reveals, birthdays, and more. The business's mission is to add joy and celebration to everyone's significant moments through creative balloon decorations.
Why the puravidaballoons?
When considering a name for the company, Melina found inspiration in her late aunt, Purita, who passed away in 2008. Purita was the embodiment of light, love, and peace within their family, touching the lives of many with her essence. In tribute to her aunt and the purity she represented, Melina chose the name 'PuraVida,' which translates to 'pure life' in Spanish, a reflection of the genuine spirit that her beloved aunt embodied.

Melina founded PuraVidaBalloons in July of 2018. She is a also a Human Resources Manager for a Healthcare company. She graduated from Bloomfield College with a Business Management Degree.

Emily Delgado
BRANDING MANAGER
Emily joined the PuraVidaBalloons Team in September 2018. Since then she has re-image our Brand. Emily graduated from Montclair State University with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Also she is finishing her Masters Degree in Branding.

John graduated from Kean University with a Communications degree. John loves cats and loves Balloons! John is a major part of our team. He installs, delivers and support all our Balloon masterpieces!
